Kullu : A private school bus met with an accident at Ghiyagi in Banjar of Kullu. Five children traveling in the bus were injured in this road accident, out of which two children have been referred to Kullu Hospital after being given first aid at Banjar Hospital. The Banjar police team has registered the case and now investigation into the cause of the bus accident has also been started.
According to the information received, when private school bus number HP 29b 4108 was coming from Ghiyagi towards Banjar with school children, it lost control and hit a car parked on the roadside and fell into a ditch. Luckily, the bus collided with a tree while falling into the ditch and was saved from overturning. Otherwise, there could have been loss of life in this road accident.
As soon as the information about the road accident was received, the local people reached the spot and took out the five children traveling in the bus along with the driver. All the children were taken to Banjar Hospital for treatment and the Banjar Police team was also informed. Apart from the driver of the bus, students Pushpendra Thakur, Dushala, Yuvan Kandwal, Saanvi and Gayatri were injured in this road accident. In such a situation, Dushala and Yuvan Kandwal have been referred to Dhalpur Hospital after giving first aid at Banjar Hospital.
DSP Banjar, Sher Singh said that the Banjar police team has registered the case and the reasons behind the accident are being investigated. The condition of all the children injured in the accident is better.
