Bilaspur: In Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, massive rocks fell on a moving car from a mountain near Tunnel No. 2 Thapana on Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane. One tourist who was there in the car at that time died. Infact there were 4 people in the car when massive rocks fell all of sudden on that moving car. In this accident one person died while other three were seriously injured.
The accident happened late at night. According to the information, rocks suddenly fell from the hill on a car going towards Punjab. During the accident, four people in the car were returning home after visiting Manali and on their return, this major accident happened which claimed life of one.
As soon as they reached the hill on Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane, a big boulder fell on their car. After this, the people present on the spot took the injured to AIIMS Bilaspur, where the doctor declared one of them dead.
The deceased has been identified as Kalyan Dhakad (35) resident of Chorpura district Morena Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, the injured have been identified as Mahesh Dhakad, Sudeep Jadoun, Sunil Dhakad resident of Chorpura district Morena Madhya Pradesh.
DSP Headquarters Madan Dhiman said that Swarghat police station is taking further action in the case. The body has been sent for postmortem. After this, it will be handed over to the family.
