Shimla: A minor girl student from the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh has given birth to a child. The father came to know about the daughter’s pregnancy only yesterday, and by late evening, the daughter had given birth to a child in the hospital. After this, a case was registered against an unknown person at the Theog police station on the complaint of the father.
According to the information, the student is in the 11th grade. Yesterday, suddenly, she had pain in her stomach. After this, the family took her to the hospital. When the doctors examined her, it was found that she was pregnant and was having labor pains. After some time, the student gave birth to a child.
After this, the father complained to the police. The police have registered the case. But they could not interrogate the student right now because the student is still in pain and her mental condition is also not good. After the statement of the student, the accused who committed brutality against her will be identified.
On the complaint of the victim’s father, the police have registered a case against an unknown person under Section 65(1) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
In this case, the police have detained a youth from Matyana. However, he has not been formally arrested yet. The accused will be arrested after the student’s statement.
