In a press conference on Monday, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that when the budget session takes place, before that the elected representatives give their priorities

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that all the MLAs are of the same opinion that when the DPR is not to be made, how will the work be done on the orders of the MLAs. In such a situation, it has been decided unanimously that the MLA priority meetings will be boycotted on 3 and 4 February. Jairam said that the MLA institution has been destroyed in Himachal.

The MLA is being made to sit in the police station for eight hours. Never has an elected representative been humiliated so much. A ceiling has been put on the MLA fund money in the treasury. Jairam said that this decision has to be taken with pain. Repeated humiliation is not tolerated. Whether to give priorities in writing or not, it will be decided in the MLA priority meetings.

In a press conference on Monday, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that when the budget session takes place, before that the elected representatives give their priorities. Being a public representative, an elected MLA has ground information. Jairam said that the CM has also sent a list to the Deputy Commissioners as to on whose orders they can work. Those people of Congress who are not holding any post are inaugurating. Where ministers go to programs, elected MLAs are not invited. In Tandi, BJP MLA Surendra Shourie was not allowed to speak from the stage. Apart from MLAs GR Katwal, Trilok Jamwal, Janak Raj, Sanjeev Katwal was also present in the meeting.

On former minister and BJP leader Ramesh Dhawaala raising questions on the election of BJP Mandal presidents in Dehra, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that he should put forward his point on the party platform only. The way he is making public comments is not appropriate. BJP is a disciplined party. He should work with restraint. He was given full respect during the tenure of the previous BJP government. He was given a cabinet minister level post. He should not do this. During the meeting with PM Narendra Modi, was there any discussion about the party president? On this Jairam said that many things have been discussed.
