Shimla: The two-day visit of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to Rampur PG College, Shimla has concluded. A three-member team comprising Dr Vishnu Charan Barik, Dr Johnny Johnson and Dr Alok Kumar inspected the college.
Alumni and parents share their experiences
The team thoroughly evaluated the academic and administrative aspects of the college. All the department heads and faculty members presented the activities of their departments, research work and student achievements. Alumni and parents also shared their experiences.
Feedback taken from students
The NAAC team inspected all the facilities of the college. These include laboratories, library, smart classrooms. NCC, NSS, Rangers and Rovers units were also visited. Feedback was taken from the hostel students on their experience and facilities.
The team inspected the college
College Principal Dr. Pankaj Basotiya said that the team has evaluated the college on all seven parameters. The administrative system and teaching system were discussed with the teachers and non-teaching staff. This inspection will speed up the college’s NAAC accreditation process. The final report will further strengthen the academic reputation of the institute.
The college administration, faculty members, students and parents are excited with the successful conduct of this inspection.
