Kullu: Nirmand administration has issued instructions not to undertake North India’s toughest religious pilgrimage Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra, which is to begin in the month of July, before the scheduled date. SDM Nirmand and Vice President of Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra Trust Manmohan Singh has appealed to all the devotees wishing to undertake the pilgrimage in the instructions that the official dates of this pilgrimage have not been announced yet. Currently, there is a lot of snow on the pilgrimage route and the roads are also not in better condition, which is yet to be repaired by the administration. Therefore, everyone is requested that no person or traveler should undertake the pilgrimage in an unauthorized manner.
If anyone is found going to going for this pilgrimage before official date, strict legal action will be taken against them. The administration has also requested the local tent owners and tourist guides not to encourage devotees to undertake the pilgrimage in an unauthorized manner.
SDM Manmohan Singh has appealed to the devotees that whenever the pilgrimage will be conducted by the administration in the month of July, they should undertake the Shrikhand Mahadev pilgrimage only at that time. Because at that time medical camps and rescue teams will be deployed at various places. Till then, the condition of the roads will also be improved.
