Himachal Pradesh: In Noorpur District Police has succeeded in seizing 15 boxes of illegal liquor in Kotla in the campaign against drug mafia. In Kotla the police had set up a blockade when the car (HP 54C-3338) was stopped and searched and 15 boxes of illicit liquor were recovered. Police have registered a case against Avnish Kumar, resident of Solda and have seized the car and liquor.

Many similar incidents already happened in the state. During the election period the business of liquor increases, security also got tightened.
