Notice to 250 teachers with poor results in Himachal: increment will stop; Not a single child passed in 10th from 30 schools

Preparations are underway to take action against teachers who gave poor results in the 10th class examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPSEB) Dharamshala.

Shimla: Preparations are underway to take action against teachers who gave poor results in the 10th class examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPSEB) Dharamshala.

The Education Department has issued notices to 250 teachers of 116 schools that gave less than 25 percent results. Action will be taken after their reply is received.

In the notice, teachers have been asked the reason for poor results. If their answer is not satisfactory, the annual increment of teachers will be stopped. The poor result will also be marked in their ACR. This action of the department has created a stir among the teachers.

Not a single child passed in 30 schools

According to the Education Department, there are 30 schools in the state where not a single child passed in 10th class. Due to this, questions are constantly being raised on education in government schools. This is the reason why parents are giving preference to private schools instead of giving free education to their children in government schools.

Let us tell you that HPSEB had taken the 10th board examination in the month of March. Their result came in the month of May. Now the education department has started action after getting the result from the board and has taken the first step towards action by giving notice.

Government is sending teachers abroad for quality education

The Himachal government has started foreign tours for teachers for quality education. This year about 400 teachers have been sent abroad to learn the tricks of teaching. Its effect will be seen in the coming years.

This is also a reason for poor results

If sources related to the education department are to be believed, the reason for poor results is not only the teachers, but the transfer policy of the state government and the negligence of the department are also responsible. There are many such schools in the state, where there is only one teacher.

Similarly, many times due to political influence, the government transfers teachers during the academic session and these posts are not filled for many months. This is having a very bad effect on the studies of children.
