Orange alert in Himachal: Thunderstorms, hailstorms and heavy rain forecast till june 1

An orange alert has been issued for thunderstorm and hailstorm along with rain in Himachal Pradesh today.

Shimla, May 27: An orange alert has been issued for thunderstorm and hailstorm along with rain in Himachal Pradesh today. This warning has been issued in Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur districts. In these districts, thunderstorms can blow at a speed of up to 60 kilometers per hour.

The weather department has issued an orange alert for storm and hailstorm in Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts tomorrow as well. Due to this, rain, storm and hailstorm can cause damage in most parts for the next 48 hours.

Heavy rain on 30 and 31 May

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain bad in the state till June 1. Western disturbance will be more active on May 30. Due to this, heavy rain is forecast in most parts on May 30 and 31. The weather will remain bad in most parts on June 1 as well.

Temperatures in most cities rose in 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained clear in most parts. This has led to a slight rise in temperature. Kalpa recorded the highest rise of 8.2 degrees in temperature. After this, Kalpa’s mercury reached 24.6 degrees Celsius.

Solan’s temperature increased by 7 degrees in one day

The temperature of Solan reached 29.5 degrees after a rise of 7.0 degrees in the last 24 hours, Narkanda reached 21.2 after a rise of 6.5 degrees, Rekongpei reached 28.5 degrees after a rise of 7.1 degrees, Kasauli reached 27.2 degrees after a rise of 4.2 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu reached 35.4 degrees Celsius after a rise of 3.4 degrees.

The highest temperature of Una was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar at 35.4 degrees, Bhuntar at 35.4 degrees and Bilaspur at 37.1 degrees.
