Solan: There is news of a youth being beaten to death in Baddi, an industrial area of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. It is being said that the deceased is a resident of Panchkula. According to the information received, a mob near the truck union beat a youth to death while his other companion was seriously injured. It is being told that people found the activities of 3 youths suspicious and on questioning, they did not get any satisfactory answer.
The mob brutally beat the three youths with sticks and even kicked and punched them. When the video of this entire incident went viral, the police reached the spot, after which both were taken to Baddi Civil Hospital where doctors declared Rahul, a resident of Panchkula, Haryana, dead.
ASP has confirmed this incident. He said that on Sunday evening, a mob beat up two youths near the truck union office in Baddi. Rahul, a resident of Panchkula, was declared dead by doctors at Civil Hospital Baddi at around 8.45 pm. While his other companion was seriously injured. The injured was referred to PGI Chandigarh after initial treatment. According to CCTV footage obtained by the police, another companion fled from the spot.
