In view of the weather forecast in Himachal Pradesh, vehicles going towards Leh Ladakh have been allowed again till Friday 6 December. Those who want to go towards Leh Ladakh can go beyond Jispah from 9 am to 1 pm. Tourists will be allowed to go only to Jing-Jing Bar. Snow sheets has formed beyond Jing-Jing Bar till Baralacha, which is very dangerous as the vehicle can slip there anytime. Tourists will not be allowed to go beyond that.
Police personnel will be deployed there. After December 6, movement beyond Jispah will be completely stopped. Neither any vehicle will go ahead from here nor any vehicle will return from Leh.
A virtual meeting of Lahaul Spiti, Leh, and Kargil administration was held to prepare a plan to send tourists beyond Jispah and Koksar of Lahaul. Snowfall and cold have made driving on these roads dangerous and an accident can happen anytime.
Giving information, Superintendent of Police Lahaul Spiti Mayank Chaudhary said that a virtual meeting of the DC and SP of Leh, Kargil, and Lahaul Spiti was held on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Lahaul Spiti Rahul Kumar was virtually connected to the meeting from Shimla. Along with him, all three OICs of BRO 70 RCC, 108 RCC, and 126 RCC were also connected.
