Una: A bike hit a person in Amb in Una district. Due to this he died at the spot. The accident happened while he was crossing the road. Police seized the bike and sent the body for postmortem.
The accident happened late at night near Senior Secondary School on Motilal Nahriyan Road. The deceased has been identified as Motilal alias Manka. According to SHO Gaurav Bhardwaj, Motilal has been living alone in Amb for the last 40 years.
Motilal neither has his Aadhar card nor any other document. Even the mobile number being used by him is being told in the name of some other person. Due to this, it is not known where he is. Information about this is not available.
According to local people, Motilal used to work at a tea samosa shop some time ago. While recently he was working at a tailor’s shop. Police have registered a case against the bike driver and started an investigation.
