Pickup vehicle from Rampur, Shimla goes out of control and falls into 70 meter deep gorge. One person has died in the accident. While another is seriously injured. The pickup vehicle was going from Sholo to Khanog. Which suddenly went out of control on the turn. The deceased has a 5 year old child.
The accident happened late Wednesday evening near Gadasu scissors of Nankhari. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar (37) resident of village Sholi district Shimla. While Amit Kumar is injured, who has been referred to Khaneri Hospital in Rampur after first aid.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local villagers and police team reached the spot and started relief work. The injured were taken to Primary Health Center Belupul for treatment. Here the doctors declared Rakesh Kumar dead.
DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said that the police has registered a case and started investigating the causes of the accident. The postmortem of the deceased’s body is being done. His family members have been informed.
