Heatwave alert in these districts

The Meteorological Department has again issued a heatwave alert for June 10 and 11. This alert has been issued for Una, Bilaspur and Hamirpur districts. This will also increase the heat in the lower areas of Kangra, Chamba, Mandi, Solan and Sirmaur districts.

Temperature of 3 cities crosses 40 degrees

At present, the temperature of three cities is 40 degrees and the temperature of 10 cities is above 35 degrees. The temperature of Neri in Hamirpur is 41.6, Una is 41 degrees and Dholakun is 40.1 Celsius. More than normal rainfall in June so far in 5 districts

According to the Meteorological Department, in the first four days of June, the state had about 30 percent less rainfall than normal. But on June 7, it has become 19 percent more than normal. Especially in Lahaul Spiti district, there has been 173 percent more rain than normal in the first seven days of June. Chamba and Kinnaur have received 13-13 percent more rain than normal, Sirmaur 39 and Solan 23 percent more rain.

These districts received less rain than normal

While Shimla district received the least rain of 48 percent, Hamirpur 17, Kangra 29, Kullu 2, Mandi 23 and Una received 26 percent less rain than normal.
