Shimla: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in different parts of the state for the next three days. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
During the alert, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain clear in all parts of the state from June 10, while the phase of pre-monsoon rains is forecast to begin after June 15 in the state. The state has recorded 45 percent more rain than normal during June 1 to 6. 10.8 mm of rain has been considered normal during this period.
15.6 mm of rain was recorded between June 1 to 6. Kangra, Mandi, Shimla and Una districts received less rain than normal. Kangra received 17 percent less rain than normal, Mandi three, Shimla 28 and Una 15 percent less rain.
District Bilaspur recorded 130 per cent more rain than normal, Chamba 31 per cent, Hamirpur 4 per cent, Kinnaur 57 per cent, Kullu 28 per cent, Lahaul-Spiti 219 per cent, Sirmaur 69 per cent and Solan 59 per cent.
