Paonta sahib: In Sirmaur district, the Bharatiya Janata Party today took out a rally against the alleged assault on BJP MPs in the Parliament premises in Paonta Sahib. Slogans of Rahul Gandhi Murdabad were also raised by the protesting BJP workers.

The rally started from the rest house and reached Valmiki Chowk via the market. There the effigy of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was burnt, after which the rally returned to the rest house.

On this occasion, BJP District President Vinay Gupta said that the Constitution of India is supreme for us, but the Constitution of India is flexible. Changes have been made to it from time to time according to the need. He added that amendments Congress made in the Constitution from Nehru to Rajiv Gandhi were to benefit the Gandhi family.

District President Vinay said, “You must be aware of the time when emergency was imposed overnight in 1975 and what kind of atrocities were committed. Congress changed the Constitution only so that Indira Gandhi could cling to power. The Bharatiya Janata Party amends the Constitution for the benefit of the country.”

Apart from the District President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, former candidate of Renuka Vidhan Sabha Narayan Singh, District Council President Seema, Presidents of all Mandals and BJP Yuva Morcha workers participated in the rally.

During this, the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party also condemned the Congress for insulting the Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
