There is a forecast of storm with a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour along with heavy rain in these districts. According to the Meteorological Department, after heavy rain today, the maximum temperature of most of the cities of the state will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in the state is already 2.3 degrees Celsius below normal. Due to intermittent rains in the past one week, a sharp drop in temperature has been recorded in most cities.

Chamba’s temperature dropped by 12.2 degrees

The temperature of Chamba has dropped the most by 12.2 degrees compared to normal. The temperature here has remained at 26.8 degrees. The temperature of Dalhousie has also dropped by 5.4 degrees to 20.8 degrees, Kangra’s temperature has dropped by 3.8 degrees to 35.1 degrees and Keylong’s temperature has dropped by 7 degrees to 14.8 degrees Celsius.

Pleasant weather at tourist places

Due to the decrease in temperature, most tourist places in the state are experiencing pleasant weather these days. The temperature of Shimla was 26.1 degrees, Manali 22 degrees, Dalhousie 20.8 degrees, Narkanda 19 degrees.

Western disturbance will weaken on June 4

According to the weather department, Western Disturbance (WD) will be more active between June 1 and 3. It will start weakening on June 4. This will lead to the feeling of heat.
