Dehra: Dr. Rajesh Sharma has indicated rebellion in Himachal Pradesh’s Dehra assembly seat. But now no leader is able to muster courage to talk to Rajesh Sharma, because he has accused Congress leaders including Chief Minister Sukhu of harassing him mentally by pressurizing him.
Rajesh Sharma said that even if he dies of a heart attack, Chief Minister Sukhu will be responsible for it. He said that many influential people are pressurizing him. He is being threatened to close his business. Scared by this, Congress leaders are not able to talk to Rajesh Sharma.
When Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar was talked to in this regard, he said that he will talk to Rajesh Sharma soon. He is fully confident that Rajesh Sharma will not contest the elections.
He said that Rajesh Sharma is a true soldier of Congress. He said that the party has given ticket to Chief Minister’s wife Kamlesh Thakur on the basis of survey report. Congress has given a ticket to Rajesh Sharma from Dehra once.
BJP started trying to insist Rajesh
Of course, after Rajesh Sharma’s harsh attitude, Congress leaders are not able to talk to him. But Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are trying to insist Rajesh Sharma. Last evening, former minister Vipin Singh Parmar, BJP candidate from Dehra seat Hoshiar Singh, BJP MLA Rakesh Jamwal reached Civil Hospital to know about Rajesh Sharma’s well-being, because yesterday Hoshiar Singh was admitted to the hospital after his blood pressure dropped.
CM’s wife reached Dehra for campaigning
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhu’s wife Kamlesh Thakur reached Dehra today for election campaigning. A day before filing her nomination, she was given a warm welcome at many places. During this, she started her campaigning after paying obeisance at Thakurdwara Laxminarayan temple Chanaur. Later, she also bowed her head at Mata Baglamukhi temple.
Congress has made Kamlesh Thakur its candidate from Dehra seat. Dehra is Kamlesh Thakur’s hometown. Congress has never been able to win this seat. That is why the party gave ticket to the Chief Minister’s wife.
Because of giving her the ticket, Rajesh Sharma has openly shown rebellious attitude. Rajesh Sharma cried bitterly among his supporters yesterday and announced to contest the election as an independent.
Dr. Rajesh had contested the election on a Congress ticket in 2022
Dr. Rajesh’s ticket from Dehra was already considered certain. In the year 2022, the party had given the ticket to Rajesh. However, then he lost the election to independent Hoshiyar. This time the party high command had gave ticket to the CM’s wife to win the Dehra seat which has never been won.
Earlier, he had also contested the election as an independent from Kangra seat.
