Himachal: On Saturday a major accident occurred on Pathankot-Mandi National Highway morning, due to which the National Highway has also been blocked. According to the information received, machinery was engaged in the four-lane construction work when large rock-like stones fell while doing the work.
JCB, Poklane and drill machines engaged in the work also got hit by them and overturned. A big rock-like stone fell on a Poklane. The drivers and helpers of these machines were taken out after much effort. The driver and helper of the Poklane machine have sustained injuries and have been taken to the hospital for treatment. The National Highway is blocked for traffic and now other vehicles including buses are passing through Via Solda or Jawali.
