Shimla: A scooter collided with a mixer machine parked on NH 5 in Bhadrash, Rampur, Shimla. Due to this, the scooty rider died. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Kumar (38), a resident of village Nithar, district Kullu.
Eyewitness Ankush Palsara said in his statement that he was returning home after dropping his uncle at Dakoldh late on Monday night. He found a scooter crashed into a mixer machine parked on the side of National Highway 5 in Dutt Nagar.
It is suspected that the front tire of the scooter got damaged after colliding with the sand and tar mixing machine on the roadside. Police are investigating the incident with the help of CCTV camera footage.
DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said that a young man has died due to a scooter crash in Bhadrash. Police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
