Shimla: Last evening, a Bolero camper lost control and fell into a deep gorge in Jhakhri of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. One person died in this accident and two were seriously injured. The injured are being treated at Khaneri Hospital in Rampur. The police have registered a case of negligence against the driver and started further action.
According to the police, four people were going from Kotlu Jury to Molgi in a Bolero camper number HP 25A1850. The vehicle got stuck in a climb near Ganvi.
During this time, due to the climb, the vehicle slipped backwards and fell into the gorge about 90 meters below. Ram Lal (48) years old resident of Molgi, Rampur died in this accident. Deceased Ram Lal’s wife Radha Devi (42) and driver Arjun (34) were injured in this accident. All four persons are residents of Molgi.

It is being told that Ram Lal has got some work done at home. For this, sand was being transported in a Bolero. When the car reached near Ganvi, it could not climb the slope and fell into the drain. In this accident, one person reportedly lost his life.

SI Sher Singh said that the post-mortem of the deceased’s body is being done today in Khaneri Hospital. After this, the body will be handed over to the family. He said that the condition of both the injured is improving. The police have registered a case and started further action. A case of negligent driving has been registered against the driver.
