In Himachal Pradesh 357 bus conductor secures new jobs amid economic recovery

HRTC issued deployment orders; we have been waiting for an appointment for 4 months. 

Shimla: The state government undertaking Himachal Pradesh Path Parivahan Nigam (HRTC) has appointed 357 new conductors on Tuesday. The corporation management has issued appointment orders to the candidates who passed the conductor recruitment.

These conductors recruited on contract will be given joining after completing the formalities. They will get a salary of Rs 12120 per month for one year. They will be given training for 15 days before starting their bus services.

The candidates who passed the conductor exam were waiting for deployment for four months. The corporation management had taken their examination for 360 posts in December last year, in which 357 candidates have passed the exam. Their final result was declared in March 2024. However, due to the code of conduct imposed due to the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, they could not get an appointment.
