Storm-hailstorm alert in 5 districts of Himachal: Temperature drops after rain

Shimla, May 6: The weather will remain bad in Himachal Pradesh for six days. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for lightning, hailstorm and storm in 5 districts for the next 72 hours. This warning has been given to Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts.

At some places in these districts, the storm can blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. Yellow alert has been issued in other districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the state till May 11. This will further reduce the temperature.

The temperature dropped after the rain

During the last 24 hours, the cold has increased due to the fall in temperature. The minimum and maximum temperature of the state has fallen below normal. Due to this, cold has started being felt on the high mountains even in the month of May. The minimum temperature of 6 cities has fallen below 10 degrees.

Keylong’s mercury dropped to 4.1 degrees

The minimum temperature in Keylong dropped to 4.1 degrees Celsius. It was 5.8 degrees in Kukumsari, 7.4 degrees in Narkanda, 6.1 degrees in Tabo, 7.4 degrees in Narkanda and 6.6 degrees in Kalpa.

The average maximum temperature of the state fell by 4.7 degrees

The maximum temperature of the state has also dropped by 4.7 degrees below normal. In the last 24 hours, the temperature of Kasauli has dropped by a maximum of 7.7 degrees, and the temperature has now become 17.3 degrees.

The maximum temperature of Chamba has also dropped by 10.4 degrees below normal to 26.0 degrees. The maximum temperature of Shimla has dropped by 6.2 degrees to 17.5 degrees. The temperature will fall further after continuous rain for the next six days.

Rain continues for 5 days, hailstorm damages crops

It has been raining every day in the state for the last 5 days. During this time, heavy hailstorms have also occurred in many areas. This has caused heavy damage to crops.
