Shimla, June 14: Heat wave conditions are forecast in many areas of Himachal Pradesh today (14 June) and light rain is forecast in some areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heat wave in many areas of Una, Kangra, Kullu and Mandi districts today.
There is a forecast of storm in Hamirpur, Chamba, Bilaspur, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts. In some places of these districts, the storm can blow at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour. In view of this, people have been asked to be cautious.
Yesterday also, due to storm and rain in Una, a tree fell on a car. 8 women were injured in Baduhi area. Women of Basal village were returning after visiting Baba Dera.
Rainfall in these areas in last 24 hours
Heavy rains occurred in many areas during the last 24 hours. Kangra received the highest rainfall of 22 mm. Rains also occurred in many parts of Una, Sirmour, Mandi, Chamba, Kullu and Shimla districts. After this, the people of the state got relief from the heat.
Chances of rain in most parts on 18-19
According to the Meteorological Department, rain and heatwave will be seen in some areas tomorrow and day after tomorrow. Western disturbance will be more active from June 16. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in most parts till June 19. Especially on June 18 and 19, rain is forecast in most parts of the state.
