The girl is saying that they have been together for 11–12 years. She is saying that no one has forced me. This boy will always keep me happy.

But the daughter did not agree. Angered by this, the girl’s family took out all the girl’s belongings from the house, set the house and the field on fire, and burned them to ashes. This case is from a village in the Mahadev Panchayat of Sundarnagar in Mandi Dila. Earlier, the daughter made a video and sent it to her parents, in which the girl is saying that she got married of her own free will and she is not going to come back under pressure.

The girl had an intercaste marriage with a youth from her village on 15 July 2024. After getting married in Bilaspur court, the girl sent the photo and papers to her maternal aunt’s daughter so that the family could know that she had gotten married.
