Shimla: The weather has become pleasant after the rain in Himachal Pradesh. The temperature has dropped drastically due to the rain in the last 3 days. Till 4 days ago, the temperature of many cities was seven to eight degrees above normal. But now it has dropped to 10 degrees below normal in many places.
The people of the state have got relief from the scorching heat. Compared to normal, the temperature of Kangra has decreased the most by 9.4 degrees. 3 days ago, the temperature of Kangra had reached 40 degrees, which has now come down to 30.2 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Chamba had also crossed 40 degrees. But now after a decrease of 9.3 degrees from normal, it has come down to 28.4 degrees Celsius.
The temperature of Bhuntar in Kullu which was 40 degrees for many days has also dropped to 25 degrees Celsius, which is 8.2 degrees below normal. The same is the condition of other cities of the state. In many places, the temperature has dropped by up to 12 degrees in three days.
Maximum temperature of Manali dropped to 18.2 degrees
The maximum temperature of the famous tourist place Manali has also dropped from 30 degrees to 18.2 degrees Celsius as compared to three days ago, which is 9.2 degrees Celsius below normal.
The maximum temperature of Shimla has also dropped from 30 degrees to 23.4 degrees Celsius as compared to four days ago. This has led to pleasant weather in the mountains. The average temperature of the state has also dropped by 3.9 degrees below normal.
Rain again in the mountains from June 26
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light drizzle in the high and medium altitude areas even today. From June 23 to June 25, the weather will be clear in the rest of Himachal except the high altitude areas of the state. But there is a possibility of rain again from June 26.
Monsoon has not arrived yet
According to the Meteorological Department, pre-monsoon rain has not started in the state yet. Its partial effect has been seen only in the east. We will have to wait for some time for pre-monsoon and monsoon rain.
