Shimla: Shimla police arrested the third woman smuggler of Sandeep Shah gang in three days last evening. Police has arrested 27-year-old Amarjeet Chaddha alias Simran. The girl is a resident of Tutu in Shimla. She was in contact with Shah gang for a long time. Police has started investigation.

It is being said that the girl’s family members were also upset with her behaviour and she got involved in drug smuggling as soon as she passed out from college.

The police have found online transactions with Shah gang in the bank account of this girl. The police is questioning her as to how she came in contact with Shah gang and how she got trapped in this quagmire. Today she will be produced in the court for remand.

Earlier, Shimla police had arrested 24-year-old Ankita Negi and advocate Avantika (30). Including these three women, police have arrested 39 members of Shah gang so far. This gang used to supply chitta not only in Shimla but in entire North India.

After examining digital evidence and bank accounts, Shimla police suspects that 25 more women are involved in this gang. Evidence is being collected against them. In fact, transactions worth Rs 5 crore have been found in the accounts of Shah gang members.
