A private Volvo bus met with a road accident near Jawali on Kalka Shimla National Highway 5. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this road accident.
This incident happened at 7 am when a private Volvo bus going from Chandigarh to Shimla collided with a roadside divider near Jawali.
At the time when this road accident case came to light, there were about 35 passengers in the bus.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the bus due to high speed. The bus collided with the divider, due to which the bus overturned on the highway. The passengers were rescued by breaking the glass of the bus and the injured passengers were immediately admitted to the Nuclear Hospital.
It is worth noting that cases of road accidents have been reported many times before at this place on National Highway 5. But the department and the National Highway Authority are not paying any attention to curb the road accidents increasing day by day.
When the police department was contacted in this regard, the IO who reached the spot said that the causes of the road accident are being investigated and the list of the injured has not been released yet.
