Travelling on the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane will become more expensive. In the coming days, the fee will be increased in two tolls. Recently, the one-way toll has been increased by Rs 45 in the LMV category at the Baloh toll plaza. Apart from this, the fee will also increase in Takoli in the coming days.
This toll fee on the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane is being taken according to the smooth operation of the four-lane. A few days ago, the toll fee was determined by adding the Mandi bypass at the Baloh toll plaza.
Sundernagar bypass has not been included in this. After some repair work is completed here, this six km long patch will also be added to the toll. This may increase the toll fee by Rs 15 to 20 in the LMV category. The toll of the Mandi to Pandoh section is also yet to be added to this toll. This section will be added only after it is fully constructed. At present, the fee has been fixed at Rs 115 one-way and Rs 175 return in the LMV category at the Baloh toll.
Takoli toll plaza remained closed for about one and a half years due to a disaster in 2023. It was started after the four-lane was improved. Four-lane improvement work is still going on in many places.
After the completion of the work, the amount of the remaining part will also be added to the toll fee. At present, Rs 110 is being charged here in LMV category one-way and Rs 165 with return.
There are a total of four toll plazas on the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane. These include Gada Mod, Baloh, Takoli, and Dohlunala. Only three toll plazas are operational so far. Preparations are also underway to start the Dohlunala toll plaza as well.
The toll fee is being revised with the addition of the remaining part of the four-lane. The toll fee of the Sundarnagar bypass and the Mandi to Pandoh section is yet to be added to the Baloh toll fee. Toll fee will be determined as per the rules after the remaining part is operated smoothly
