Two-storey wooden house burnt to ashes in Shimla, no loss of life reported

Fortunately, no one was in the house at the time of the incident. Due to this there has been no loss of life in this fire.

Shimla: The two-storey ancestral house of the Nantha family in Tiludhar of Navar Tikkar in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh has been completely burnt to ashes. Apart from about 6 rooms, the kitchen and toilet were burnt to ashes. Fortunately, no one was in the house at the time of the incident. Due to this there has been no loss of life in this fire.

According to the information, the incident happened late Sunday night.  A fire suddenly broke out in the ancestral house of Nantha family in Tiludhar. The house was made of old type of wood, due to which the fire spread throughout the house in a few minutes and the house was burnt to ashes.

Seeing the flames of fire in the house, the family members and villagers informed the local administration about the incident and the villagers themselves started extinguishing the fire. But before the fire could be controlled, the house was completely burnt to ashes. There has been no loss of life in the incident, but the house owner has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees.

The house belonged to 3 brothers

Sanju, a fire brigade employee who reached the spot after getting the information, said that it was the ancestral house of three brothers Sundar Nainta, Surjan Nainta and Balwan Nainta. But currently no one was living in the house. He said that at present the cause of the fire has not been known. The loss in the incident is estimated to be in lakhs. The correct information about the loss will be given only after the local administration assesses the loss.
