Shimla: A case of rape of a 7-year-old girl has come to light in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla. Here a middle-aged man has tainted the relationship of uncle and niece. The victim’s mother has made the allegation in a complaint to the police.
The woman told that her cousin has raped her 7 year-old-daughter. The police have registered a case on the woman’s complaint and started an investigation.
According to the information received from the police, the mother of the victim girl has complained to the women’s police station BCS. The complainant has told the police that she had gone to her maternal home with her children. During this, on December 1, her cousin Shankar Lal raped her 7-year-old. The accused is the maternal uncle of the victim girl. The victim’s mother has appealed to the police for justice.
The women’s police station has registered a case against the accused under the section of the POCSO Act on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s mother. The police say that further action is being taken in the case.
