Solan : District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma launched a special campaign ‘Eat Pure Vote for Sure’, in which you just show your inked finger and get 20 percent discount at hotels and restaurants.
Now in the hotels and restaurants of Solan district, along with eating, customers will also be motivated to vote. 20 percent discount will be given in lunch and dinner in hotels on June 1, the day of voting to the voters.

During the campaign, voters in Solan city will be motivated to vote as much as possible on June 1. Various hotels and restaurants located in Solan city will cooperate in this. For this, the operators have proposed a discount of up to 20 percent on having lunch or dinner in their hotels and restaurants on polling day if the entire family votes. Apart from this, a stamp of mandatory voting will also be put on each bill by the hotel operators.
Do vote, inspire others too
DC urged everyone to vote themselves and inspire others to vote. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar Yadav, Nodal Officer SVEEP and Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Dr. Priyanka Chandra, Tehsildar Election Usha Chauhan, Naib Tehsildar Election Diwan Singh Thakur, Solan Hotel Bar and Restaurant Association President Surindra Kumar and Secretary Jatin Sahni were present. Voting invitation letters being given along with ration in depots
District Administration Chamba has taken a unique initiative to increase the voting percentage. Now, along with ration, people will also be given invitation letters and appeal posters to vote in fair price shops.
On Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner Chamba Mukesh Repswal launched the invitation letter and appeal posters. Additional District Magistrate Chamba Rahul Chauhan, Assistant Commissioner PP Singh, SDM Arun Sharma and District Nodal Officer of SVEEP Arvind Singh Chauhan were also present. The Deputy Commissioner said that people coming to get ration at more than 500 fair price shops located in the district will be given invitation letters and posters.
