Lucknow: Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla’s convoy met with an accident in Lucknow on Tuesday (10 December) morning. 3 vehicles including the ambulance in the convoy collided with each other. Shiv Pratap Shukla was going to Raj Bhavan from Lucknow Airport. He was accompanied by ADC T Sai Dattatreya Verma and PSO Neeraj Sharma.
An auto suddenly entered the governor’s convoy at 8:30 am on Shaheed Path. This is the reason for the accident. Police officers reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received.
ADCP Rajesh Yadav said that the governor is absolutely fine. 2 police vehicles and an ambulance have been damaged. The governor was going to attend a program when the accident happened. ACP Ghazipur and 2 jawans sitting in the police vehicle have suffered minor injuries in the accident. After the accident, there was a long jam on Shaheed Path.
Governor Shiv Prakash Shukla reached Lucknow at 8 am by Indigo flight 6E146. About 30 minutes later, the governor’s convoy proceeded from Lucknow Airport via Shaheed Path. Then suddenly, near Lulu Mall, the driver of one of the vehicles in the convoy applied brakes when an auto entered, and the other vehicles coming from behind got unbalanced and collided with each other.
