Kullu: Vehicles parked on the roadside in Chamalhari Nala of Gandhinagar, located in the district headquarters Kullu, have been burned. The fire incident occurred at around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday at midnight. The reason for the fire could not be ascertained.
The police have started investigating. At the same time, when people looked towards the road, the vehicles were seen on fire. The fire centre received the information at 2:55 am, and the department team reached the spot with a vehicle and started the work of extinguishing the fire. The work of extinguishing the fire continued till 4:30 pm, after which the fire was controlled and other vehicles were saved from burning.
The six vehicles have been burned in this fire incident, out of which four have been completely burned, while two vehicles have been burned from the front and back sides. The affected people have suffered a loss of lakhs due to this fire incident. At the same time, the police also reached the spot and prepared a report on the vehicles.
According to the information, the vehicles of Rajendra Kumar, Khush Bhardwaj, Karm Singh, Oma Devi, and Dev Raj, along with two other people, have been burned. The engines, tyres, and back sides of two cars have been burned. The police have started investigating the cause of the fire.
