Shimla. May 11: The weather is expected to be clear in Himachal Pradesh today on Sunday and tomorrow on Monday. Today the weather is clear since morning in most parts of the state including Kangra, Shimla, Manali and Mandi. The sun has come out in Shimla after many days. According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance will be active between 13 and 16 May. During this time, there is a possibility of rain in the middle and high mountain areas of the state.
Earlier on Saturday, it rained in many parts of the state. The highest rainfall of 43.6 mm was recorded in Shilaru of Shimla. 34.5 mm rain was recorded in Jubbarhatti, 28.3 mm in Katola, 27 mm in Rajgarh, 22 mm in Jaton Barrage and 12.4 mm in Shimla. The weather has become pleasant due to light drizzle in Hamirpur and Mandi.
The temperature fell the most in Chamba
Due to rain, the temperature in the state is below normal. The maximum drop in temperature was seen in Chamba, where the maximum temperature was 24.7 degrees Celsius, 11.9 degrees below normal. The temperature of Manali is also 2 degrees below normal at 22.0 degrees.
