Shimla: Western disturbance is becoming active in Himachal Pradesh from tonight. Due to this, there are chances of rain in the mountains for the next four days.
There are chances of more rain the day after tomorrow i.e. from 4 to 6 June. The people of the state can get relief from the heat. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of thunderstorms at some places for three days.
On the other hand, the weather will be clear at other places except the higher areas today. Due to this, heat wave is also going on at some places. Yellow alert of heat wave has been given in the lower areas of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Solan and Sirmaur districts.
Temperature crosses 45 degrees in Hamirpur
Heat wave has been felt for 16 days in the state during the last 18 days. There is no heat wave alert in any district from tomorrow. This is a matter of relief for the people of the state.
Currently, the temperature of six cities of the state is more than 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Neri in Hamirpur is 46.1 degrees Celsius, Una 44.2 degrees, Bilaspur 42.1, Hamirpur 42 degrees, Dhaula Kuan 41.3 degrees and Barthi 40.8 degrees.
Mercury high in most cities of the state
The temperature of most cities of the state is 6 degrees higher than normal. Mandi has seen the highest rise of 6.2 degrees compared to normal. Similarly, the temperature of Shimla is 4.3 degrees above normal, Sundarnar 5.4 degrees, Una 5.5 degrees, Nahan 4.5 degrees, Solan 5.1 degrees, Bilaspur 4.8 degrees and Hamirpur is 5.7 degrees above normal.
