Punjabi actress and model Himanshi Khurana has reportedly received a death threat from gangsters demanding ₹10 crore as ransom.

According to sources, the callers allegedly threatened to kill her if the money was not paid. Following the incident, the actress filed a complaint with Mohali Police. Authorities are currently examining the call records and have intensified the investigation given the seriousness of the threat.

Police officials are scrutinising the call details to trace the origin of the threat. Security concerns are being treated with priority, and further legal action is expected based on the findings of the probe.

Himanshi Khurana hails from Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab and is often referred to as the “Aishwarya Rai of the Punjabi industry.” She began her career after winning the Miss Ludhiana title in 2011 and gained recognition through films like Sadda Haq and hit songs such as Soch.

She rose to national fame after participating as a wild card contestant in Bigg Boss 13. During the show, she was involved in several high-profile disputes, including with Shehnaaz Gill.

After exiting Bigg Boss 13, Himanshi revealed in a chat show that she struggled with severe depression due to the negative environment inside the house. She shared that she remained depressed for nearly two years and experienced panic attacks, which led to hospitalisation at times.
