Himanshu Aggarwal assumes charge as new DC Jalandhar

Jalandhar: DC Himanshu Aggarwal, who was transferred from Gurdaspur to Jalandhar took charge today. During this, he was first given Guard of Honor. After this, other administrative officials welcomed DC by presenting him with a bouquet.

During this, DC Himanshu Aggarwal received the blessings of his father and father-in-law. Administrative officers Sanjeev Kumar, Jai Inder Singh, Vinay and other officers were also present at this occasion.

While talking to the media, DC Himanshu Aggarwal said that keeping in view of the Lok Sabha elections, this time he will motivate the youth in large numbers to cast maximum votes.

He added that efforts will be made to maintain the law and order situation of the district regarding the elections.

Earlier, DC Vishesh Sarangal was on this post. Ahead of elections, DC Jalandhar was transferred in Gurdaspur whereas then Gurdaspur DC Himanshu Aggarwal was appointed as DC of Jalandhar.
