Hisar Police Issue ₹11,000 Challan for Tinted Windows, Seatbelt Violation

Hisar: Hisar Police issued an ₹11,000 challan to a car driver for using illegal tinted window film and driving without wearing a seatbelt during a special traffic enforcement drive aimed at improving road safety.

The action was taken as part of an ongoing campaign by the district police to ensure compliance with traffic regulations and reduce road accidents.

Illegal window film removed during inspection

According to police, Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar of the Barwala Traffic Police was conducting a routine vehicle checking drive on Hansi Road when the car was stopped for inspection.

During the inspection, officials found that the vehicle had illegal black film on its windows and that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, both of which violate provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

The traffic police immediately removed the black film from the vehicle’s windows and issued an ₹11,000 challan for the violations. The driver was also warned to strictly follow traffic rules in the future.

Police warn of strict action against violators

Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain said that using illegal tinted window film and failing to wear seatbelts pose serious risks to road safety.

He said the district police will continue its special enforcement drives and take strict action against motorists found violating traffic rules.

The SP also appealed to vehicle owners to avoid using illegal window tints, always wear seatbelts while driving, and follow traffic regulations to ensure their own safety as well as that of other road users.
