Hola Mohalla 2026 begins from today in Anandgarh Sahib Fort

Hola Mohalla will begin late tonight from Anandgarh Fort with the beating of five ancient drums. According to the information received, the first phase of the six-day national festival will be celebrated on the holy land of Kiratpur Sahib from February 27 to March 1.

Let us tell you that the second and important phase of Hola Mohalla will be celebrated with chardi kala and jaho jalal from March 2 to March 4 at Sri Anandpur Sahib, the place where Khalsa Panth and Pargat Sthan are located. On March 4, all Nihang Singh organizations under the leadership of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Buddha Dal will decorate the Mohalla.

Two-day international Gatka Competition 

A two-day international Gatka competition will be organized at Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Dal Cantonment Nihang Singh like every year. During this, 4500 police personnel will be deployed in the fair area for the security of the devotees. CCTV cameras have been installed in the city so that every move is kept under control.

There will be a complete ban on selling colors, cannabis and begging of any kind. Liquor shops will remain completely closed at Sri Anandpur Sahib during Hola Mohalla. The district administration has issued instructions.

Jathedar Singh Sahib of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj has appealed to the devotees to participate in Hola Mohalla by dancing.

It is worth noting that the national festival Hola Mohalla is a symbol of the rise of Khalsahi art and glory; every year lakhs of devotees pay homage at Sri Anandpur Sahib. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee makes extensive arrangements for the devotees.
