Honey Sethi Arrested: Punjab Influencer Booked Under NDPS Act After Positive Dope Test

Honey Sethi, a well-known social media influencer, activist, and shoe dealer from the Khanna–Doraha region of Ludhiana district in Punjab, has been arrested on charges related to drug use.

Police confirmed that a dope test conducted during the investigation returned positive, leading to the registration of a case against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Arrest in Doraha Police Station Area

The operation was carried out in the jurisdiction of the Doraha police station near Khanna.

According to police officials, authorities had previously received complaints regarding Honey Sethi’s alleged activities. Acting on information and suspicion, police initiated an inquiry, during which a medical examination was conducted to verify drug consumption.

Medical Report Confirms Drug Use

Station House Officer Akash Dutt of Doraha Police Station stated that the arrest was made following due legal procedure after the medical report confirmed drug use.

He added that given the seriousness of the matter, further investigation is ongoing and authorities are examining all aspects of the case.

Case Registered Under NDPS Act

Police have registered a case under the NDPS Act, which deals with offences related to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Officials reiterated that strict action will be taken against individuals found violating anti-drug laws.
