Hanumangarh: A private bus and a truck collided on the mega highway in the Rawatsar area of Hanumangarh district on Tuesday. The accident was so severe that a portion of the bus was completely damaged. Five people, including a child, died on the spot, while several passengers were injured.
Chaos After the Collision
The accident erupted in chaos. Police and administration teams arrived at the scene immediately after receiving information and, with the help of local residents, rescued the injured from the bus and rushed them to the hospital. The accident caused a long traffic jam on the highway, which was later cleared by clearing the traffic.
Treatment of the injured continues
The injured were initially taken to the Rawatsar Trauma Center, where, after receiving first aid, three seriously injured were referred to the district hospital. Treatment of several other injured is ongoing.
Identification of the deceased and investigation
The deceased have been identified as Ajay Bansal, Shyam Lal, and Hariram (all residents of Hanumangarh), while two others are being identified. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
