Hoshiarpur: Terrible collision between two cars; Father-son injured

A case of a terrible collision between two cars has come to light near the Maruti agency turning point towards village Langeri on the Mahilpur-Gadshankar road. According to the information received, two people have been seriously injured in this accident and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Let us tell you that a retired soldier and his father, who were returning from Jammu, were injured after colliding with a Scorpio vehicle and were taken to the Civil Hospital, Mahilpur, for treatment. On the other hand, according to the Scorpio driver, he had turned the vehicle towards his village from the main road by pointing it at him, when a speeding car driver hit him.

Gurdev Singh, a resident of Dhola, who is undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital Mahilpur, said that he was coming from Jammu to his son Gurjit Singh, who had retired from the Army after serving for sixteen years. When he reached the said place, the driver of the Scorpio vehicle (PB 07 W 5701) in front of him tried to turn to the other side and his car collided with the vehicle, due to which both the father and son were injured. They were taken to the Civil Hospital, Mahilpur, for treatment.

On the other hand, the driver of the Scorpio vehicle, Harbalraj Singh Raja, a resident of Langeri, said that he was returning from a private hospital in Hoshiarpur with his family members and was turning towards his village after giving a signal to the vehicle, when a speeding car driver hit him from behind. The police of the Mahilpur police station have reached the spot and started further action.
