    Hurun Global Rich List 2026

The Hurun Global Rich List 2026, a list of the world’s super-rich, has just been released. It sheds new light on the wealth of the world’s super-rich. Currently, there are 4,020 billionaires in the world. This is 578 more than last year. India has 308 billionaires. We are ranked third in terms of billionaires. China and the United States are ahead of us. Currently, China has overtaken the United States to become the number one country with the most billionaires. While our country added 57 billionaires in a year, China added 287 new billionaires in a year.

This brings the total number of billionaires there to 1,110. The number of billionaires in the United States is 1,000. China’s unprecedented wealth growth is due to its significant advancements in the semiconductor and AI sectors. The use of AI has created seven new billionaires in one fell swoop. The number of AI-related billionaires has reached 114, with 46 of them rising from millionaires to billionaires. This list sends a clear message to India: we must advance in the field of artificial intelligence, though for now, we are merely making claims. The future of our country’s manufacturing industry lies in the proper development of AI and semiconductors. However, the major shortcoming at this time is that neither established investors, the younger generation, startups, nor the government sector are receiving the proper training and skills related to AI and semiconductors.

Universities have not adapted their curricula accordingly, nor have experts formulated a suitable future policy. The sooner we can address this shortcoming, the more we will achieve astonishing progress. The rise in the number of super-rich in India does not indicate prosperity reaching the common man. This shows that the country’s wealthy are reaching new heights, but the poor have fallen victim to a culture of compassion. Unfortunately, if India faces a surge in inflation due to the Gulf War in the future, the poor will suffer even more poverty. In such a situation, socialism will remain just a dream.

This list provides another interesting insight: 80 percent of our country’s billionaires were not on this list ten years ago.
Secondly, there is no scope left for working with old technology. In the year up to January 15th, if investors have earned an average of one new dollar from artificial intelligence, companies using old technology have lost one dollar. The healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors have earned the most money in the country. 43% of the total increased income has gone into this sector.

Despite this, hospital treatment and medicines have become expensive for the common man. He still cannot save enough money to afford proper treatment for himself and his family. It is true that India’s billionaires have surpassed those in Germany and Britain, but the number of poor and unemployed in our country has not decreased. The dreams of young people remain in limbo.

Earlier, they used to migrate abroad, but now most countries have increased restrictions on this as well. Therefore, the number of unemployed people depends on government subsidies. Moreover, wealthy individuals like the Haldiram family have increased their wealth by 280%, demonstrating that the chips, snacks, and junk food business in India still hold great promise.
