‘I am upset…’: Social Activist Anna Hazare on Kejriwal, says arrest because of his own deeds

Ahmednagar: Social Activist Anna Hazare has reacted on the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. While registering his discontentment, Anna Hazare said that he is very upset that Kejriwal who used to work with him against the liquor is now making liquor policies.

Terming the arrest right, Anna Hazare said that his arrest is because of his own deed. He added that whatever will happen will be in accordance with the laws.

“I am very upset that Arvind Kejriwal, who used to work with me, raise his voice against liquor, is now making liquor policies. His arrest is because of his own deeds..”, he said.

Arvind Kejriwal had joined the Anna movement in 2011 against the then Congress government’s alleged corruption. He rode on to the fame and floated his own political party in 2012, and contested for the chief minister’s office.
