Inauguration of Noida International Airport, Yogi says – Historic turning point for UP

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the inauguration of Noida International Airport as historic, saying it marks the state’s transition from being a landlocked state to a landmark. He said the airport is a pride not only for Uttar Pradesh but for the entire country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were also present on the occasion.

Economy and connectivity will receive a boost

The Chief Minister said the airport will elevate the state’s economy to new heights and strengthen global connectivity. One runway has been commissioned, and with the completion of five runways in the future, it will become a major international hub.

This project will accelerate development by connecting with projects such as the Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Ganga Expressway, and high-speed rail.

New Employment and Investment Opportunities

Yogi Adityanath said that this airport will provide direct and indirect employment to millions of people. Large-scale investment opportunities are emerging in the Noida and Greater Noida regions.

Projects such as a semiconductor unit, apparel park, medical device park, toy park, MSME hub, and data center are being developed here, which will boost industrial development.

Farmers’ Contribution and Future Plans

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the farmers who donated approximately 13,000 acres of land. He said that farmers were connected to the project through dialogue and fair compensation.

He said that with modern facilities and a cargo hub, this airport will play a key role in connecting Uttar Pradesh to the global market.
