Increased Investment in Space

A meeting to encourage young entrepreneurs was held in New Delhi, attended by 20 prominent entrepreneurs. It’s well known that innovation culture is gaining traction these days, meaning that entrepreneurs and investors are being urged or urged to invest in sectors previously uninvested. If India is to maintain its growth rate and become a fully developed nation in its centenary year of independence, it will need to cultivate an innovation culture that will attract new investors from around the world. After the Russia-Ukraine war, due to the deteriorating global economy caused by the US, Israel and Iran war, foreign investors withdrew money from India at a record level. The stock markets also appeared to be facing more ups than downs. In such a situation, India has to stop the departure of foreign investors from India. Along with this, it also needs more investment, that is why under the innovation culture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to create such an environment in the space sector that the world is inspired to invest. Of course, Modi is saying this after being encouraged by the achievements of ISRO in India. With its achievements, ISRO has placed itself at par with the American space agency NASA. A public-private partnership system is in place in India. A similar partnership could significantly benefit India’s economy if foreign and domestic investors were brought together within the same framework. India has made significant progress in space communications. ISRO has launched communications satellites from neighboring countries and other smaller nations into space. Now, it’s the turn of space tourism. Further efforts are underway to realize the dream of sending humans to the Moon and establishing human settlements there. Private sector investment can play a significant role on all these fronts. India’s achievements are no less than any other country. We reached the southern part of the Moon first, outpacing the US and Russia. Therefore, Modi has now appealed to investors from India and abroad in the space sector. If this can happen, it will be a good fortune for India, and we can transform from an import-based economy to an export-based one
