India’s Advisory Following Ceasefire; Citizens advised to leave Iran as soon as possible

In light of the prevailing situation, the Embassy has advised Indian citizens currently present in the country to leave immediately. This announcement serves as a follow-up to the previous advisory issued on April 7, which had urged individuals to remain vigilant and ensure their safety.

Instructions Issued for Citizens
The Embassy has directed Indian citizens to establish contact with Embassy officials and to exit Iran solely via the safe routes designated by them. The Embassy has issued strict instructions prohibiting any Indian citizen from attempting to approach any international border without prior consultation. It is mandatory to coordinate with the Embassy before proceeding to any border crossing.

Embassy Releases Helpline Numbers
To assist Indian citizens, the Embassy has released four emergency helpline numbers. These numbers are: +989128109115, +989128109102, +989128109109, and +989932179359. Additionally, individuals may send an email to [email protected] to report issues or seek information. This measure has been adopted in response to recent developments within Iran and for security-related reasons. The government is committed to ensuring that all Indian nationals return to their homeland safely.
