Second phase of Census

The period from 1st to 5th July in the country has been called the second phase of the census. In this, first the self-census was conducted. For the first five days of July, the process was kept that the common citizens of the country should go to the census portal and fill the information of the questions asked online. It is well known that at this time a complete census is being conducted in the country.

In the first phase of the census also, residential census was conducted after self-census. After the residential census across the country, in the second phase, from 1st to 5th July, those days were kept when the countrymen could go to the portal on their own and enter their information. It was believed that educated, technically savvy, progressive citizens across the country would understand the importance of the census. Development plans for the country can only be meaningful if we know the population of each area.

The first phase of the residential census has already been completed, so we have clear information about developed, underdeveloped, and slum areas. After entering information into the online system, a unique number is sent to the person’s mobile phone. By providing this unique identification to the field officer, one could participate in the self-census process. Now, after July 5th, this second phase of the census will be conducted door-to-door. Once the official receives all the information, they link it to the main data center.

Extensive preparations have been made to ensure a smooth census process. Even those living in live-in relationships will be included. Thus, we see that the government has made every effort to simplify the census process across the country. The final outcome of how simple and accurate it will be will only be known once the entire census process is complete.
