India women’s hockey side to travel to Argentina for four-match series from April 13–17

New Delhi: The Indian senior women’s hockey team will tour Argentina for a four-match series to be played at CeNARD in Buenos Aires from April 13th to 17th.

This tour is considered crucial for India in preparation for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 and the Asian Games.

India and Argentina have seen close contests in recent years, including a thrilling 2-2 draw in the FIH Pro League 2024–25 last June, which was decided by a shootout. This tour will provide the team with a great opportunity to practice against strong international opposition and strengthen their preparations ahead of upcoming major tournaments.
